Rachael Reyes, Studio One's Art Director and owner, fell in love with dance at the age of four. At ten years old she began professional training in Southern California, dancing over 20 hours a week. After 18 years of experience in the competition world and achieving top overall as well as top choreography, she had the honor of being a guest performer for the Jazz Dance World Congress in New York in 2004. With the support of her family and friends Rachael brought dance to the Vail community four years ago. Rachael has had the honor of performing the choreography of Susan Quinn and Michael Williams and has learned from the Martha Graham Company (founder and creator of modern dance) and Gus Giordano the innovator of jazz dance. Rachael graduated from the dean's list from the Eller College at the University of Arizona in May 2006. She graduated with a B.S. in Business Management and a minor in Pre-Law.
Justin Pereira was born August 24, 1990 in Queens, NY. Justin started dancing at Studio One four years ago and currently instructs jazz, hip hop and lyrical. Justin's favorite style of dance is contemporary because it has no limits, formal technique, and is a vivid blend of all dance styles. Justin encourages everyone in his classes to have fun and turns his choreography into their dance. Justin has spent last year as a dancer and actor at Disneyland Resort. Justin was also an Aims Scholarship recipient. Justin is currently attending Pima Community College and is studying dance and forensic science.
Throughout Anthony's life, dance and music has played a key role. He is currently a student at the University of Arizona and started dancing and performing at church functions in California since he was 7 under the tutelage of his sister Rachael Reyes. Anthony's focus is hip-hop and tap dancing and is a member of Studio One's Hip Hop Company. Over the past summer he spent his time in New York City participating in the leadership council at Columbia University with a focus in journalism and law.
Sake Watanabe is the break dancing teacher at Studio One. He has been break dancing for seven years and is a competitve break dancer for the Les Avenge Crew, based in Tucson, AZ. The Les Avenge Crew is one of Arizona's top break dancing crews and they continue to compete through out California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Sake is also a full time student studying optical engineering. Sake's goals in teaching his break dancing class, extends further than the dance itself, but wants his students to elarn the important of resepct, self discipline and most importantly innovation.

At a young age Regina Reyes, Owner, has loved music. She is self-taught in guitar, piano, and the organ. Regina graduated from St. Paul College of Manila in the Philippines with a B.S. Degree in Food and Nutrition. After moving to the United States 28 years ago, she dedicated her life to early child development. After receiving her degree in Early Child Development from Moorpark College, she owned her own preschool in Southern California. She continues to share her love of music with her husband, children, grandchildren, and now her students.
Ruben Dorame, born and raised in Tucson was introduced to the dancing scene when he was in middle school. Now at the age of 19 and a junior in college he not only makes hip hop dance a hobby but a way of living. He started the first ever hip hop team at his former high school Desert View, is the founder of Ill'egit top Hip Hop Crew in Tucson and is currently working as a dance teacher showing kids of all ages his own style. Ruben is currently studying to become a business major and hopes to open his own dance studio. He says that his inspiration comes from watching his student. They continually push him to do better and to continue to perfect and harness the art of hip hop.
